Everyone hates on this movie, but as a kid I would watch this nonstop, feeling the aura, watching the courageous acts of Lanterns; as a young adult I see how people see this as a letdown of a movie, but I still can’t help but love what it represented to me. The Green Lantern Corps weren’t just heroes with power they were people who chose courage when fear was easier. And maybe that’s why I still hold onto this movie, because at the end of the day, the greatest power isn’t what you’re given, it’s the will to keep going when everything tells you to stop
