@sherazisyeda25: Day 6 of my internship at Kohinoor Textile Mill 📍 Today we explored Fabric Weight (GSM – Grams per Square Meter), which is the standard technical unit used to measure fabric weight. We also learned about the GSM Cutter, a precision tool with an 11.3 cm diameter that cuts a standard circular fabric sample for accurate GSM calculation. Another important instrument we studied was the Pick Glass, which is used to examine the fabric structure by counting the warp and weft threads (thread density) to check fabric construction and quality.
