Not arguing it’s THE hottest, but being a mailman in our fucking aluminum trucks with a little fan that doesn’t blow anything but hot air in your face all day. It’s like working in an empty tin can all day that just amplifies the heat, if it’s 95 out, it’s 115 in the truck. I’ve delivered mail in -10 degrees and a foot of snow in the winter, and 105 degrees in the summer, walking 13 miles a day — shits mentally debilitating. Like 5 of us drop dead every year in the heat lmao.

welding can get pretty damn hot. but I work for the railroad and weld on bridges i honestly think it gets hotter on top with the nasty creosote ties. when that stinky shit gets hot its slicker than snot and gets all over everything
