@grace.the.dogtor: Replying to @Beneoknows41 WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY TO VET SCHOOL?! 🤨 🐾 This is a huge question that often comes up with the pre-vets that I work with… This answer might surprise you: there is no perfect time to apply to Vet School! Everyone’s path is different, so follow the path that is best for you. Historically speaking, the majority of students do apply as seniors in college or just after graduating college. The veterinary school application process does take a full 10 months! You apply in September of a given year and submit your deposit in April, matriculating in either the Summer or Fall of the year AFTER you click submit. Some of the most important things to consider when you decide when to apply is your academic performance as well as your experiences. You should not apply if your GPA is not ready nor if you don’t have strong experiences both in and outside of veterinary medicine. Need advice on when to apply?
