im dead serious when i say that i literally NEVER seen someone tattoo like this, im an illustrator myself, and I thought that it was impossible to translate this type to style into tattoos but omg you are incredible!

It’s so interesting to hear your process. My mom was a professional illustrator in the 80’s-90’s. Her process was so similar, just with more archaic tools (magazines and Polaroids, she would even use clay and flashlights) But also when you look at her old portfolios there’s so much of her face, my face, my dad’s face, even our dog 🤣. Your work is amazing BTW.

You did an amazing job and I love how you explained the process of making sure that it was realistic, but also not like your face completely or that you just used it as a reference and start off point. What program allowed you to take the drawing and make it look like an actual picture? That’s intriguing.
