To be honest, the Halifax Donair used to be amazing. But over the past 25 years of laziness of the pizza/ donair places. are operating at 30% flavor and quality, the Donair meat is usually not cooked to the perfect amount. the pita bread is usually cold and soggy, the pita bread needs to go on the grill. but the guy preparing it is to lazy to do i. and then they slap it together. not enough donair sauce, cheap on the tomatos and onions. 90% disappointing. To be honest, no body in Halifax. talks about Donairs anymore, because of the last 30 years of not putting love in to making them. I'm 63 years old now, and I've been eating them since I was 10 years old. King of Donair at pizza corner in Halifax was one of the best. now , I wouldnt buy one. The last time my girlfriend order 2 of them. I wouldnt touch it, then I got it home. took it part and put it in the air fryer and cooked the meat more and grilled the pita. had to make my own sauce. put that together, and put it back together and enjoyed it.

Doraku, Sushi Restaurant in Dartmouth. Shaw's Landing for a lobster roll and calamari, Peggys Cove. Pleasant Street Diner for Clams and chips in Dartmouth. The rope loft for fish and chips in Chester NS. Yeah Yeahs Pizza in Dartmouth!
