in highschool i hung out with my friend so often that his mom thought his gf (now wife) was a beard and that he was secretly dating me (to be fair he is her only son not part of the lgbtqia+). so armed with this supposed "information" the first time i stayed at his place for dinner she decided that since i was supposedly gay i must also be a vegetarian and proceeded to make me and only me a vegetarian pasta. it was a damn good pasta but man was i confused
