The guy I liked has a my permit picture (I was 16 and the ugliest pic of me it's so bad ) as my contact picture . Why would he do that to me . He knows how insecure I feel about that pic

Hey🩷🩷 I would really love your opinion on something.
My partner and I have boundaries in our relationship, and I've already made compromises when it comes to social media. However, he wants me to limit myself even more. He doesn't like that I post photos or videos of myself because other men might see them, comment, or message me.
I understand that it can make him uncomfortable, and I've tried to respect his feelings by setting healthy limits. But he wants me to stop posting photos of myself completely. The thing is, I genuinely love documenting my life, especially my fitness journey, and sharing my progress. It has nothing to do with seeking attention from other men.
I've tried explaining why posting is important to me, but he doesn't understand. He says that not posting wouldn't make me lose myself, while I feel that giving up something I love just to make someone else comfortable would mean I'm no longer being myself.
I've tried finding a compromise, but he mostly wants me to stop posting altogether. Our relationship is otherwise really good, but social media has become a big issue for him.
Do you think this is normal? How can couples find a healthy compromise in situations like this? I'd really appreciate your thoughts.
