When I was just a few years old my parents brought me to see Marina Abramovics “artist is present” in MOMA - I wish I got to participate but reasonably my mom was nervous as I was 4-5. I only learned this in my 20s after I learned about her body of work. Even though we never interacted I’m proud to say I was in the same room as her.
