In May 2025, she was found guilty of all charges including 2 counts of second degree murder and was sentenced to 25-50 years. The two children who lost their lives were 4 and 8 😔

Omg I just watched a three part video of her arraignment where her lawyer is fighting for her to have house arrest prior to trial, while the prosecution wants a $1.5 million dollar bond. Her lawyer says she wasn’t drunk; that it was a health issue. The two babies who were killed were siblings. Their mother and other sibling were both in critical condition as well. The aunt had to tell the mom (her sister) when she came off her ventilator the day before this arraignment that her two babies were dead. It’s so awful

As an alcoholic (recovered) I would be absolutely broken finding out I’d killed children. Not offering excuses and pretending everything was fine and that I just couldn’t imagine what went wrong but that’s just me.

I know multiple people who have been killed by drunk drivers. In a world of Ubers, Lyfts, or someone you know that will probably pick you up over you driving drunk there is zero excuse to drive drunk. And as adults you KNOW what you’re drunk.
