I'm 56 and I feel like I'm getting worse every year. I went on my first ever cruise over a month ago and I'm still recuperating lol I wanted to come home before I even left lol I just want to stay home. I'm comfortable and everything i want is here. I think back to when I use to ask my Mom...why don't you ever want to go anywhere and NOW I get it. Same with my grandmother lol It's gotta be the norm at this point. You're definitely not alone

I do agree with a lot of reasons people have mentioned, but I think social media & phone apps are overstimulating us. Our brains need rest, not more stimulation that social situations provide.

I love seeing friends for lunch out or dinner and an evening but that’s it. I don’t want to travel or sleep over anywhere else,, I’m past menopause so that’s not an excuse I can use. lol

I don't have people over anymore. I'm 68 yo, 14 years post menopause. I'm happy to met them out for a meal anytime. But I don't want to clean my house, plan a meal, shop, cook and then clean up. I don't want the stress of waiting for people to go home. And into the bargain I can leave a meal anytime I'm ready to come home. Win, win.
