My best friend of a decade, about 5 years back we got into a huge fight and he blocked me for 6 months. I tried calling and texting and then just stopped. One night he text me “I miss you and I hate it. I love you so much and I’m even more mad that you haven’t reach out and I have to do it. I thought I meant more than that.” He woke up and remembered he blocked me and called me. I told him how many times I tried to reach out and apologize. Years later, he ordained my marriage and will do it every time we reup our vows.

had none, gained one true one, now lost it all, and i’m getting older and older now. took most of my life just to gain one. i don’t got enough soul or time to restart anymore. at least i can pray and talk with God (i just pray He hears me and answers back at some point..)
