I know shes a child. She was really trying to get her to cut those straight pieces. Thats where mom should have stepped in and said lets blend it and give it shape like she said. I know it can be traumatizing for ppl to cut their hair but it would have looked even better if she would have cut those pieces.

Wouldn’t the curls be more defined/flat if you twirled each piece on your fingers? I tried to do the drag fingers theu scruntchy thing once and it looked just ok. Do they not do it in salons bc it is more time consuming?
