Stewby's Shanty or Stewby's Steamer are the only places most locals are willing to eat seafood. There are two locations of Stewby's Shanty: one on the island next to the Steamer, and another in Fort Walton Beach on Racetrack Road.

Stewbys is by our absolutely favorite. We went to McGuire’s last week the service absolutely sucked and the food was not great considering it was almost $150 for the 2 of us. Their gift shop was the best thing about Mcguires. Donut Hole has excellent breakfast along with really good donuts and their Key Lime pie is delicious too. 😁
