14 year driver here......I've been bitten multiple times.... And it's never a pitbull lol. it's always the Collies ...Chihuahuas... shih tzus.... And every time you get to go get a tetanus shot. if the dog doesn't have proof of rabies vaccines, you get to get a rabies shot. Which is incredibly painful. And then you have to sue the homeowner. take time off work deal with that. homeowner has to take time off work to deal with that. that UPS guy just saved you a major headache and a lawsuit. Homeowner should be thankful.

I used to deliver pizzas in high school and this is the reason I stopped. People don’t control there animals. I don’t know they are friendly or not

My sister is a FedEx driver in NJ and was bitten by a customer’s dog. She was being sued by the hospital because unpaid medical bill. It there anything she can do? She now has PTSD from being bitten.

I worked at FedEx for eight years. I barely escaped from a very angry Boxer. I told my manager that the next time I go to the house I’m bagging up the package before I get there and throwing it in the yard from my truck. 😁

had a neighbor who's dog bit 2 mail carriers and another neighbor walking. I think they finally put the dog down, but its not confirmed
