I enjoy my universal healthcare. I've had multiple surgeries and I've never waited and I have zero medical debt. I get annual MRIs and other tests and scans with no issues. But when I lived in the US I was paying $800/month in premiums and an annual $7000 deductible and I still ended up with a $300K bill after the insurance company denied a claim for an emergency surgery I needed to live.

That's a lie I have a rotary cuff diagnosed one month ago and Im booked for surgery in 2wks. A US creator was telling us that she had brain surgery which cost her 148.000 and thats with ins 😅😅😅

Yeah but you can pay private in Australia and Canada too and use the private hospitals - we have a right to pay private health cover in Australia for that reason so we don’t have to wait for public
