Me too. He died 6/26/26. I keep thinking “I’ve never gone this long without talking to my dad” and for a brief moment my mind says “call him” but just as quickly as I think that I realize I can’t.

I wake up everyday and can't breathe. I don't know anyone who hasn't lost a parent who won't understand. Life is not the same I feel half of me is gone completely, half of who made me doesn't exist so half of me no longer does. I dream of him and panic. He told me in a dream he's not dead he is hiding that's so like him. However I just want to wake up from this nightmare. Sometimes I feel maybe am I sick in a coma and this life I live now without him is a vivid deep dream.
