It absolutely did! 🤩 @Panfila-CocinaMex If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in San Antonio, Panfila Cocina Mexicana is now serving the same family recipes at both of its locations. The first thing you have to order is the famous slow-cooked chicharrón. It’s cooked overnight until it’s incredibly tender, then flash-fried for that perfectly crispy, crunchy outside while staying juicy on the inside. It was one of my favorite dishes of the day. They’re also serving all the dishes that made the original location so popular, including the giant concha, cheesy chilaquiles, pozole, menudo, queso flameado, giant pancake stacks, tortas, authentic Mexican hot chocolate, café de olla, enchiladas, tamales, street tacos, and more. We came to the original in north San Antonio and the service was not very good, they bring one thing out at a time and never come back to see if you need anything. They forgot stuff with our meal, the front lady was rude and dismissive, I never leave bad reviews but for a place TikTok hyped up and it should be at ease passable . If service and wait staff was better it would be a very good place . But for me it gets a 4 out of 10

We went to the original one this pass Monday 2nd time there nothing like our 1st time not to mention I think a tip should be earned not expect it I had the owner/waiter chase us to our truck to ask for his tip he said that’s how he pays his kitchen staff I was planning to go back in to leave tip I left my purse in the truck husband had no change we only leave cash as tip food was ok cheese dip was gross nacho cheese with chunks of tomato on top we had to keep telling the man that he kept forgetting items very unpleasant experience
