During my residency, I encountered a patient who had undergone a disastrous dental procedure by these quacks. These Unqualified practitioners had applied sept heating acrylics directly to her edentulous area, causing the acrylic to adhere to her gums and trigger inflammation. Fortunately, we were able to remove the acrylic, but the patient continued to experience significant pain. It's appalling that such malpractices are rampant in Pakistan, where there is a glaring lack of regulations. The prevalence of hepatitis in the country is a testament to these unchecked illegal practices.
