I think it's probably because the killer knows that Kaye is mr.kill ,(probably stalked him) so he physically can't hurt him because of how seen he felt by him and his Manga. And also he stabbed phat because he thought he was in danger. That's just how I understood the scene tho 😔 so I could be wrong 🙏
