@newemergingking: A man was watching our girls get into the van today… and almost none of them noticed. As they were getting in, he walked all the way up behind them. I stopped them and asked a simple question: “Did anybody see that man?” Only two girls said yes. One of them saw him… but she froze. She didn’t know what to do, so she didn’t say anything. And that’s exactly why we do these workshops. We’re not teaching our girls to live in fear. We’re teaching them to live with awareness. I told them to always take a moment to look around before getting into a vehicle. Notice who’s nearby. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, say something. Don’t assume someone else noticed. The beautiful part about today wasn’t that they got it right. It was that they got to learn in a safe environment. Because if this ever happens again, that same young lady is far more likely to speak up instead of freezing. Confidence isn’t built by hoping you’ll know what to do in a dangerous moment. It’s built by practicing before that moment ever comes. That’s why exposure matters. That’s why scenarios matter. That’s why we teach life before life tests them.
Women and girls need their heads on a swivel always

But it’s not very clear in this situation because you are with them so they feel like they are with a trusted adult who is protecting them.

Now ask these girls how many have been hit on by grown men already. They already know they aren't safe from men. They prob felt safer in a group of other girls

It’s so sad that we have to teach our babies these things. But it is absolutely beautiful seeing someone take the time to be so thorough in educating these babies! ♥️

I don't know if that's healthy either. you never know if that's one of those girls dads walking up or not 🤔 so you're training them to make a scene when someone will walk past and catch a bus? I'm confused but I like you're trying something 🤔
