These cops are not professional. This poor lady is having a mental breakdown. They are not even trying to understand what is going on here. So sad breaks my heart. Do better men and woman in blue.

I agree cops could have been kinder because it's clearly panic, but what's causing that panic? they don't know unless she tells them, or the kids tell them. she was drinking and driving fast, the kids told her to slow down and she wouldn't do the kids panicked. Most like she is panicking because she got caught and yes, her kids wellbeing. The cops asked multiple times what was going on, the kids told them. The kids were smarter than the mom.

why arrest and then ask her to do field sobriety tests at the jail? what was she arrested for to begin with, none of these videos show any reason for arrest, maybe a Backer Act for 72 hr evaluation due to mental break, that is all you can legit assume is going on.

Police obviously talked to the kids while at the stop so they new she was DUI. Cops were admirable in dealing with her. Coming from someone whose been sober for 10 years ...she needs to go to jail...maybe this time it will sink in. "sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly" The AA promises.

I think she got drunk and was having a custody visit, but wanted to take the kids for a ride. At this point, shit went south.

I'm so sorry to say but this is a very poor job on all of these officers. I wish just one of them could see there was something more going on with her (drugs possible, yes) but field sobriety test 🤔

I think Craig is actually the boyfriend and she knows that their bio dad is going to be the one to get them if she is arrest….. there is real fear they are going to go with the actual dad.

I know cops see/deal with a lot but their lack of understanding of mental health issues (and lack of empathy sometimes) makes me worry 💔! Their hearts grow cold and hard…likely a defense mechanism because of what they are exposed to, but it’s still sad.
