I’ve realized there is a huge difference between telling humans about your pain and telling Allah about your pain. Humans don’t deserve to hear your hidden sorrows. Tell your problems only to Allah and indeed, He will heal you. One day, I was very disturbed. My day went badly, and as usual, I didn’t talk about it with anyone. I felt so frustrated, I was about to cry. When I prayed ‘Isha, I started crying, and during du‘a, I spoke to Allah about my entire day even though He already knew. After that, my heart felt peaceful. Now I don’t crave to have someone in my life, because humans often don’t understand. They don’t really listen, and even if they do, they may make fun of you, share your pain with others, or laugh at you. But Allah will never do that. He heals you. He comforts you. It is far better to love Allah than to love a human who doesn’t value your presence and makes you feel worthless.
