I was born and raised in Reding PA and it never flooded like that when I was growing up. There was only one street that flooded and it was at the Spring St. bridge.

Yea no the city was more concerned with renovating the Pagoda for $5.3M in taxpayer funds, instead of cleaning the drainage systems in Reading. Now they are going to do the same thing with the Berks County Court House. And instead of building a new court house or renting a newer building that wouldn't cost taxpayers for repairs, and would come with a warranty or landlord repair responsibility, they are going to dump millions into the court house. And guess where the funds are coming from to renovate the Berkshire Mall? Federal taxpayer funds. So people from all 50 states are paying for that. This isn't a game. If we have billions to send to other countries and renovate something that repairs should have been kept up on, we are paying too much in taxes.
