Back in 2024, my partner overstayed his 90-day visa by just two hours because of a hold-up on the South African side of the Namibia border. We explained what happened, but they didn’t want to hear it and banned him from entering 🇿🇦 for two years. Meanwhile, Europeans can overstay their visas and it doesn’t seem to be an issue, We tried contacting every relevant authority because, living in Mauritius you have to transit through 🇿🇦 but up until today nobody helped.
