Mulligan even kept the journal entry from the day they met, where she gave Mumford a 9 out of 10. The pair stayed in touch as pen pals for years before reconnecting on Facebook in their 20s. Their romance blossomed after Mulligan bought a ticket to a Laura Marling concert, where Mumford & Sons was also performing.
