It’s the fact shows take 2-3 years to drop a new season for dumb reasons. And with so many streamers there’s so much content to watch. Netflix is prone to cancelling shows just because ppl don’t immediately watch it when it drops.

There’s too much of a gap between seasons. I hate this! I can’t remember the previous season.

We used to get 22 episodes and it was guaranteed every year. There was a 4/5 months off for summer and the show was back in Fall with a. Ew season. Now we are getting less and have to wait forever for season 2.

That’s the main reason why I still haven’t watched the last season of Stranger Things. I lost interest.

If it takes 3 years to make 8 episodes then I don’t watch it on principle.

They cancel everything on a cliffhanger so why bother watching a show until we know if it's actually going to have an ending?

We need to get back to more than 10 episodes per season and more frequent seasons. It was more predictable back then. We had 20 episodes that would debut in the fall and take us through spring. Summer break, rinse and repeat. We don’t need huge productions, just give me something I can lean into

They need to start filming multiple seasons back to back so they are ready to go within a year or less

I think you’re right. I’ve been waiting on a couple of series and in that time find other things to watch. I have to rewatch first seasons to prep for the new season. Sometimes it’s not worth it

We used to get 22 episodes between September and May EVERY YEAR; now it takes up to 3 years for that many episodes. We keep spending more but getting less.

Not only does it take forever for a season two but probably 3/4ths of their shows get cancelled after one and on a cliff hanger. I refuse to get invested in a new show just to have it get cancelled on an unsatisfying ending

I’ll never forgive NETFLIX for canceling “1899”, before it premiered so they can pay for Electric State, Red Notice because Netflix’s reasoning was that the show’s cost was too high relative to the audience it reached. Such BS. 😞

I don’t know if this is Netflix, but what’s up with Bridgerton? We waited so long for the last season and it was short and very unsatisfying.

2-3 years between seasons is what does it for me. Think about it, in television history, shows never went on a 2 to 3 year break. We forget what happened, we lose the excitement, and the anticipation has been forgotten about. For something to hold my attention I like to binge it, and I can understand an eight month or a year hiatus, but 2 to 3 years I’ve forgotten the story. That’s just honestly what happens for me.
