It took me 18 months to get a rating of 10% and that was only thanks to a DAV rep that fought for me. I tried to get it increased because my leg has had two surgeries and is steadily going downhill hill. I was sent to a contract doctor and was told that I should be at least at 30% because my symptoms are above that in his diagnosis book… still at 10%.
