i grew up mormon (i’m 31 now) and some of my earliest memories were being literally scared of non-LDS kids and especially their parents. so wild and so sad to think about. i would never raise my children with such blind division towards people with different beliefs or lifestyles

I live here too and I’m the opposite where I don’t allow my kids to play with the other Mormon children in our neighborhood because their parents are always trying to shove their religion down their throats

I think that is rare I live in Utah not LDS and have NEVER been treated differently by ANYONE here for being catholic. Are you sure it's because of that? LDS are very family inspired it seems crazy they would not allow your adorable daughter to play with their kids. Hope things change for your daughter.

I do not have a 5 year old, but I am 43. we are LDS. my daughter has all the friends who are not LDS... but even of you are LDS, you can still be excluded. The culture is so toxic and judgey for me too.
