I grew up in the 70s and 80s a few blocks from there. There was a KFC on the corner. We’d hang around ”downtown Wilmette” which was made famous by Tom Cruise in Risky Business when he drove his father’s Porsche trying get away from Guido the killer pimp! Is the Chuck Wagon still there? Their Gyros were the BEST!
