had a manual 03 Pontiac vibe with a weird trigger button that would unlock the engine, it actively refused to start for anyone but me. my dad. my brothers, my friends. even my mechanic couldnt get it started..worked at a carwash for 6 years and none of my coworkers could start it 🤣 id hop in and it would fire right up

My boss came into work one morning, and was very concerned that my driver window was rolled down on my 96 Cherokee. The driver door was welded shut cuz someone had tried breaking in and screwed the locking mechanism. After some fighting, I just welded her shut and crawled in and out the window. To get it started, it had to be in neutral, not park. The key had to be jiggled just right. And then you'd have to flutter the gas pedal. Once it started, it needed to be driven like a manual until it figured out how to be an automatic again. Also, it had a stop sign welded to the floor boards cuz I put my foot thru it one day. And had no ac or heat.

My ex couldnt get my 26 yr old malibu started. I had to turn around and start it for him. Like you gotta wait until you hear that special sound& dont push it too far or shell cut off
