The whole thing is really about caring and compassion, but addresses it directly in the last cut, which is really a much-abridged story about Siddartha. I won’t say too much. But find it if you can, and listen from beginning to end.

My brother has cerebral palsy and I do think growing up with him in our family has shaped my compassion but hasn't created it.

Keep pondering. This is a fuel of life. You know you might think of something this way compassion. Honesty. Giving. Fear. Loving. All are emotional outcome that we might have a preset level that we were born with. But each of these types of outcome can be affected by your life experiences so for instance, if you were born with a moderate level of compassion, you can go through life that way, but there will be events and things that happen that can zoom up your compassion or crash it down based upon these experiences. So it’s both it’s a yin and Yang thing. It’s Tabula Rasa think. You’re born with it and it shifts based upon what you learned and feel along the path of life. Sorry for the deep introspect, but that’s my thought for you for today that you ponder compassion.
