@ktx1976: Hot shots, don't come for me- I get it. Truckers, on a scale of 1 (Doesn't bother you in the slightest) to 10 (Homicidal) how annoying is it when fuel pumps and overnight parking intended for semis is taken up by vehicles with other options? It annoys me when I see it even though it doesn't affect me at all. #trucker #truckerlife #trucking
It’s just part of the game. Far more infuriating when another truck just sits at the fuel island and take 30 min break.

a lot of hotshot trucks are permitted the same as a semi....registered as tractor trailer. Held to the same hours of service. Where are they supposed to park and sleep. I drive both a semi and a Hotshot lol. MOST of the time I try not to take a spot if I am in a Hotshot....sometimes I have too though.

It don’t bother me with Big Rigs 5th wheel camper and Class A Diesel Pusher use the fuel island to fuel, as long they pull forward or go park once they are done fueling. Now for them parking in the truck spot. I have no problem with it if you use one spot and keep your slid out in your own parking space. Don’t take up another space and we will be fine. Smaller and shorter RVs ( Class C and B ) campers and pickups that have a shorter trailer can just go fuel and park once the auto side. They are not long enough to go fuel and park at the truck side.

honestly, when talking about fuel pumps, you should fuel up and move up immediately b4 you go inside so the truck behind you can start fueling up as soon as ur done, thats the unwritten rule... these days I find more campers or pickup trucks with trailers following this rule then semi drivers.
