@morethanjustthoughts: Very early in my life did I realise that people cannot actually love each other but can still be together in marriage. My dad has shown me countless times that he was not loving my mother and only stays there because leaving is too much work. They recently had their 40 year anniversary and it makes me think about how much actual years that is together. Growing up in a traditional and non-technical household has really affected them in the way they progress and project their ideas onto me. I do not wish these kinds of parents on anybody. I wish my parents could’ve had a childhood and adulthood free from conflict and destruction, which is going to scar them and me forever. I cannot imagine living as a housewife like she was and only listening to my husband for the rest of my life. We deserve to be free. My father may not be physically abusive now but he definitely was violent before, and the genetic code stays the same #targ#targetaudiencee#corecoree#fakesituation
