The trend of charging outrageous amounts of money for a simple recipe that other people probably already make is so insane to me. I get working hard on a recipe but it’s still so insane to me to charge people over $10 for recipe for a single item, especially a cookie. It’s just pure greed at this point.

Okay so I bought this recipe and the add ons - I never thought about her only adding the “add in ingredients” for $10 because honestly, when I was baking before, I wasn’t adding even half of what she adds when it comes to an 12 oz bag of chocolate chips to 24 oz + so it was worth it to me. I have made so many batches of these and have given them to friends + family with amazing feedback and have actually sold 50 cookies (been baking these for two weeks). Do you know how many I sold before this recipe? None lol so was this recipe worth it to ME? 100% yes. But I know it won’t be for everyone. Yours turned out looking like biscuits lol mine do not look like that.

Personally we use the recipe and play with inclusions. We make our own brownie mini muffins to add in, chop up our own chocolate, make our own strawberry milkshake cookies and we sell out. It’s a hit or miss I guess personally it’s for me

Vanilla should always be intentional. It is one of the most expensive ingredients used bakers use, especially for those of us that use quality vanilla. Saying salt and vanilla is optional tells me right there that it is not a good recipe.
