Retired cop here. He didn’t refuse the field sobriety tests. He said he wanted to call his lawyer. She got bent when he said that and accused him of refusing the tests. He’s gold on this.

His lawyer is gonna cook this department. I bet ya they drop charges in a week. Coming from golf course is not grounds for field sobriety tests. Normally they just lie and say “I can smell alcohol”.
