If the unit is not in use and has already been prepared for the scheduled rental. In other words, waiting for the scheduled rental. I think it’s a great opportunity to earn a bit of extra money. Just charge them a pre-load fee. Something like 50 bucks. It’s an addition of money for you but also a charge to them for occupying the vehicle but because they don’t plan on staying, they feel like they’re getting a deal. Ultimately, it will make your customers more satisfied.

Yes I think a preload fee if the camper stays on your property until you deliver. If they want it on their property the night before then no they need to pay the full price for an extra night

I haven't had someone ask me to do this yet, but it makes sense to me. They are occupying the camper, causing you a lost night of rental. And honestly, it's a convenience for them. An add on fee makes sense to me vs charging an extra night, purely due to the added night of insurance they would have to pay.

if they come to you tobload the night before if it is ready to go then yes but keep in mind if you are delivering it will cost a little more with fule with the extra weight in it, just don't advertise about it because then you can pick and choose depending on your plans and schedule.

Pay extra night if they want the convenience. But I also let them have the camper as early as they wanted the next day without it charging for the extra night.

I think to allow prepacking sets a poor president, unless this is just fun side money. Allowing a customer to have the camper an evening early so that they can prepack paves the way for them to ask for an extra night at the end to unpack. Allowing someone to come to my house and prepack feels a little more acceptable but it would need to be a “I know you personally” or “Someone I am close to knows you personally”. My rule would be every evening that the customer has the camper they will be charged for because insurance comes into play and it’s more appropriate. On top of that, if I have a service (which I do) that I will prepack the fridge for them and a customer pays for that I think this can fall into a similar boat
