I use commands more out of necessity. I work from home and spend so much time with my pet. I think I have great conversations with them. I literally say things like dude, let me explain this to you and talk to him like my teen. Does he understand, maybe and it helps me work though whatever is going on by breaking down to him. Win win I guess. Down to one dog now, it’s much easier conversation. 😁
