So I like to sleep with a blanket also with the air-conditioning on cause you know I'm weird but that's fine so anyway I can be sleeping and my body will get so hot that it feels like heat waves are coming off of me and then I'll throw the blanket off and then the heat waves will dissipate and then I'll get cold again and then I have to have the blanket on again do this over and over again any given night it's a nightmare

my husband's mom had a full hysterectomy, and a mastectomy close together before we met. That poor woman really went through it, so my hubby was already prepared when it started happening to me.

I started symptoms at 40. Full perimenopause by 42 or 43 n all of its crap!!!I’m now 53 haven’t felt normal or had a good night’s sleep n about 13 yrs!!! Kids r now grown n left home.i got divorced, husband is gon but perimenopause/menopause is still here!!!😫😫😫😫

Feels like heat that starts in your gut and goes up and down simultaneously and after 20 seconds the sweat starts dripping and I get pissed off.

Here I am…at 2am…because a hot flash woke me up, had to change clothes because of the sweat and now I can’t go back to sleep. I hate this so so much.

You feel like you’re melting from the inside out. And then when you’re drenched in sweat, the hot flash passes and leaves you absolutely freezing. Rinse and repeat every night, several times a night.
