I've been on finasteride for over 31 years. I actually had a very similar conversation with Paul Saladino in a supermarket in Santa Monica. His first question to me was what I thought about post-finasteride syndrome. He didn't seem especially well versed on the medication itself, but he was genuinely interested in what some of his fellow health influencers were saying. I see the comments and the only thing that i can say is that you have to get to a dermatologist (who has some knowledge on androgenic alopecia )before taking finasteride or minoxidil …. Personally im taking fina and mino pills for almost 8 years straight and im ok… if you have side effects you either lower the dose or you stop the medication or you use different medications like gel or foam etc depends (the doc will give you the best solution for you)….the side effects aren’t permanent if you stop the medication
