Mayonnaise is not a single ingredient. It can taste very different. Really they should specify the brand or variant or supplier.

In those kind of sauces I like to replace 50% of mayo with greek yogurt. It adds interesting flavor and becomes lighter for your stomach. Also dill sauces love a little bit of garlic (I love fresh one but you can put powder) Highly recommend to try

So…:: I am not Greek ..: but I’ve eaten my fair share of Greek food … and known quite a bit of Greek chefs. Never ever have I seen this amount of MAYO used in any Greek dish …
