Do you need DHT to survive? No. Do I believe DHT has a purpose? Absolutely and it’s not a trash hormone. When I took Finasteride for almost a year (around 28-29 years old) I didn’t notice sides right away but eventually I noticed lack of drive in the gym, softer look to my body, fat accumulation in my chest and burning ejac and slowed beard growth. It was like that primal instinct was gone. Everyone will react different of course.
