I think for an adaptation that wants to tell a story for a modern audience it's great cause Odysseus was kinda of a pos, like he sleeps with everything imaginable and it's kinda of Crazy to cheer for a guy getting home when he cheats on his wife with thirty people.

what i like most about it was how it was no cgi. christopher noland hates cgi. it was all practical shots and its so impressive. that alone puts it high in my list. i dont hate cgi but the fact he can create something so incredible like that without it is genuinely insane
