To be completely honest with you, I haven’t seen a lot of Christopher Nolan’s films (all the way through). I really wanted to enjoy Oppenheimer so bad, but after that first hour, I got bored with it and it felt too dragged (in my personal opinion). Yes, I know it had to be made like that, but I’m not really a person who can sit down and watch a movie that has a 3+hr runtime, I have to be hooked in from the beginning. And I tried watching The Prestige (as I love Magic), and same again, felt dragged out. I’m not saying that Nolan’s work is bad, just not my style in some aspects.

For me, THE ODYSSEY does stand in #1 as I love sweeping epics in scale, and as an aspiring filmmaker, it challenged me to dream bigger by tell stories with deep purpose, and never lose sight of the emotional journey behind the spectacle. Seen it 5x so far, and it still reveal something new by offering a level of visual clarity and contrast that makes the film feel incredibly polished throughout.

i never seen every Nolan movie, but I've seen the batman dark knight trilogy, interstellar, Oppenheimer (because of the Barbieheimer meme that I've seen both same day), and the odyssey. but from all those movies batman doesn't top none of them. how much i like batman, Nolan obviously made way better movies than the bat.

I don't know man huge respect to your ranking but maybe odyssey at number 1 is just recency bias? I really liked the film (gave it 4,5), especially because Nolan's adaptation captures the essence of the story. For the record, I studied analytically the book at 7th grade, because it's a thing at greek schools. But I don't know it didn't hit with me as much as interstellar or inception or tdk 😭
