You are missing the bigger picture. US is in debt crisis, the interest payments are unsustainable, more than 20% of all government revenue goes to pay interest. The only way to fix it is have massive inflation. What is the easiest way to do it? It is to increase prices of everything. It all starts with oil, oil goes up everything goes up. Earlier this year US took over Venezuela who the largest oil reserves in the world. Now, both straits of middle east are closed, Russian oil industry is destroyed the oil prices go up and they only reliable oil supplier is US with its Venezuelan oil.
