we have 4 dogs... Shark can't hang. Thankfully it was a gift and we didn't spend money on it. The self emptying feature is a joke when the thing can't sense that it's full of dog hair.

Getting my new evovac in Wednesday and excited about it. Have had the matrix for a year and can’t wait to be done with it. Anti tangle brush is bs, it tangles faster than anything I have ever used. It’s always shutting down with the smallest amount of debris. The fluid either doesn’t release enough liquid or completely drains itself within 5 minutes of mopping. Terrible 2 in 1 vac.

Everything I see shows the powerdetect to be the more expensive one. It even has the nicer base that has auto dumping and refill while the plus has a manual add for the mop

returned my shark within a day, it can't do multiple rooms if there is a ledge also the mapping is awful. got a dreame l40 ultra way better

matrix is a joke. I have a very lightly textured runner, it couldn't handle it. So now I have it just handle my bedroom and bathroom. I have a very thin washable rug, shark matrix gets caught up and dumps so much of what it's collecting at the edge between the rug and hardwood. I have a different robot vacuum/mop and it has no trouble with either of those areas. I assumed it was just a limitation of a robot vacuum but my other one proved me wrong.

Bought one and it’s stupid. Object avoidance is only for a couch, not a shoe. It gets stuck on something almost half the time
