We know those babies ate good the rest of the day, don't feel bad about bread and butter for dinner! So, my mom grew up really poor and she would NEVER let us have plain macaroni with butter and salt because it made her feel like a failure since thats often times all she HAD to eat growing up. Sometimes the basic stuff just hits the spot though!
