i’m 22 and at this point it’s so hard not to just give the fuck up. i want to believe the world will get better, i do all the shit i’m “supposed” to do to make a change, i boycott, i try to stay active politically, and yet still things just keep getting worse. at this point, ive just accepted that life’s gonna suck no matter what i do, unless theres some drastic political shift that’s out of my hands. what is there to hope for anymore

it's bad when my "in a perfect world" is doing what I love as a job, and I can't, not because I won't provide ENOUGH, but because it won't provide ANYTHING. my "in a perfect world where I have as much money as I want" is literally; nice 2bed 2bath apartment, no roommate needed, being a successful artist (painting or comics) and being able to afford a convertible and normal car at the same time. in the modern day this is literally impossible
