she got a royal roll out first episode. she has celebrity friends and has jobs with the NFL and NBA, charities so many things she could have focused on instead of the same topics from season 9 when she was being tested for full time cast. the porsha drama has only hindered her from shinning.

Idk I hate Porsha and like Shamea and this is with s17 being my first season. Y’all allow Porsha to get away with murder. It’s not fun tv to have a queen bee everyone needs to bow down too, imo.

This is MY OPINION (because I know you girls like to tussle): I think Shamea has areas in her life where she feels unfulfilled. I think she wants to pour into something outside of her marriage and motherhood, and she thought the show would kick-start or open doors for those other passions to thrive.

shamea has a “why couldn’t it be me?” type of mindset that’s holding her back. she (seemingly) has all the tools to be successful but keeps falling flat. maybe she’s not landing because this isn’t actually what she wants. maybe it’s really what her mom wants or she fueled by envy
