@thelaceybahns: This was not just a miracle to conceive twins, it was an answered prayer. I prayed for a baby, and God gave us two. My next prayer was that I would make it full term, because most twins end up in the NICU, and He answered that too. He let me go past 40 weeks and let my babies grow into full-size babies. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. They came out nearly 7 lbs each - 7 lbs 5 oz and 6 lbs 14 oz. No NICU time. They latched right away. I was trying to avoid the cascade of interventions that comes with early induction which i know can lead to a C-section, postpartum hemorrhage, difficulty latching, and so many other issues , all because people want to rush the babies out. I chose to go in for an induction but that was after 40 weeks, (40+4) and I would do it over and over again. I really don’t care what it did to my body. I care that I got to take two healthy babies home with me right away, babies who have been exclusively breastfed for 5 weeks now and are just as healthy as any singleton.
